The training strategy of INNOVET LATAM, implemented through Work Package 3, is the operational core of the project and supports all specific objectives. It focuses on equipping VET providers in Guatemala and Venezuela with EU-aligned tools, methods, and frameworks to enhance the relevance, quality, and responsiveness of vocational education. Training will address technical, managerial, and operational capacities, including the practical application of EQF, ESCO, Cedefop guidelines, EuroPass, and EQAVET. Central to this approach is the EntreComp Framework, which will be embedded into internal processes, curricula, and services through a series of practical training modules. Learning will occur through three modalities: in-person workshops (in Belgium and Guatemala), fully online sessions (via digital platform), and blended formats timed around international mobilities. The program emphasizes two-way cooperation, fostering knowledge flow between EU and LATAM partners, and aligning training provision with labor market needs—especially in emerging economic sectors. This capacity-building process will not only deliver training, but also promote shared governance models and internal development strategies that ensure sustainable transformation of the VET ecosystem in Latin America.
